Hello and welcome

Forest Philharmonic is one of London’s leading amateur orchestras, with players drawn from London and the South East. Based in East London for over 50 years, the orchestra has gained an impressive reputation for the high quality and vitality of its performances.

As we celebrate our 60th Anniversary year, we are delighted to announce our full programme for the 2024-25 Season. Details can be found on the Concerts page.

North & East London Young Musician of the Year Final

Congratulations to all three finalists who made the competition final on Sunday 29 September such a special occasion. The winner on the night was Esther Park who played the first movement of the Sibelius Violin Concerto. We look forward to welcoming Esther back in December to perform a full violin concerto with the orchestra.

String Players Wanted!
