Forest Philharmonic is a friendly and active orchestra, performing four concerts per season in and around the borough of Waltham Forest, as well as a number of external engagements with other groups during the year.

We welcome enquiries from talented string players to join (minimum Grade 8 standard), particularly double basses. There are occasional vacancies in the wind and brass sections or for extra players for larger works. A distinctive feature of Forest Philharmonic is that string players receive coaching from our professional leaders as part of the rehearsal process.
